The Superior Essex Communications 110962D02 is a 96 core Loose Tube Single Jacket All Dielectric Zero Water Peak Single-Mode fiber cable. The Loose tube cables are regarded as the product of choice for the backbone in outside plant (OSP) environments. Renowned for reliable transmission performance over a broad temperature range, the durable loose tube design stands out. Optical fibers and water blocking elements are strategically placed inside gel-free buffer tubes. The core is notably constructed by stranding the buffer tubes around a central member using a reverse oscillating lay (ROL). The core is ensheathed with flexible strength members, covered with a water-blocking tape and finally encased with a protective black jacket. A rip cord is considerately included under the jacket for ease of entry. The Operation Temperature Rating remarkably stands at -40 to 70.
