The BD31A4-100-H12F-0-AS is a double-density "zero-slot" back plate for the CH3000 Headend Optics Platform. It provides the RF input and optical connections for a group of four double-density full spectrum transmitters (HT3xxx series, such as the HT3562H) installed in a CA3008 module carrier.
The companion ordering variant BD31A4-100-H10F-0-AS instead supplies 1 common BC input with 4 separate NC inputs. Because the back plate mounts behind the chassis, no additional rack space is required, supporting up to 24 transmitters in a 3RU CH3000 chassis with redundant power supplies.
