The CommScope 531163-037-00 is a STARLINE Return Equalizer, ordering code SRE-85-4, from the SRE-*-* series of RF accessories. These plug-in equalizers are designed to equalize fixed lengths of cable and are available in 2 dB steps from 0 dB through 20 dB depending on the series. This variant belongs to the SRE-085-* (legacy N-split) family, covering a 5-85 MHz return passband with 4 dB of equalization (SRE value +/-0.5 dB).
Newer SRE equalizers without plastic guide pins can still be used in legacy 1 GHz amplifiers, and older SRE equalizers can be used in MB120 and BLE120 amplifiers by removing the plastic guide pins from the shell.
