The Corning DFA6F1FDD1M1500F0B is an Evolv™ multiport terminal with Pushlok™ technology, configured per Corning's ordering guide as a 6-port terminal with a preconnectorized OptiTip® stub on 500 ft of SST flat dielectric drop cable, supplied in bulk packaging for standard FlexNAP™ systems.
Pushlok hardened connector technology allows a smaller terminal footprint for FTTx access networks. The terminal is small enough to be placed in existing handholes or pedestals, on building facades, or in aerial networks (pole- or strand-mount). Each port's release button is actuated to remove the dust cap or drop, and the keyed ports provide audible and physical positive feedback when drops are installed.
The SST-Drop™ dielectric cable stub uses an easy-access single-tube design and eliminates bonding and grounding requirements.
