The Corning (Corning Gilbert) GRS-715-CH-QRP-T, also cataloged as GRS715CHQRPT, is a pin-type, three-piece hardline trunk and distribution connector for .715 QR coaxial cable. The connector seizes both the outer jacket and the center conductor of the cable; the contact pin extends through the connector body and is retained within the equipment port.
It belongs to the Corning Gilbert GRS 3-Piece QR+ Series, which incorporates a non-metallic support sleeve that reduces the craft sensitivity of the connector-to-cable interface during installation and compensates for variability in the cable coring process. The series is designed to meet SCTE interface specifications and preserves shielding integrity across the bandwidth spectrum, even under extreme environmental conditions.
