The Greenlee 435 is a 3/16 in wide polyester conduit measuring tape supplied in a 3000 ft (914 m) length. It is a power fishing tool that lets an installer fish and measure a conduit run in one operation, so the required cable length can be read directly from the tape.
Typical applications include measuring and pre-fishing conduit and underground duct runs ahead of a wire or cable pull in electrical, broadband and telecom outside-plant work. Greenlee lists the 435 in its Cable Pulling & Fishing / Power Fishing measuring tape range, and the application is specified as "For Conduit Measurement".
