The Newmar UR48-3 is a 150 watt hot-swap rectifier module for the Newmar Unity Rectifier DC Power System. Modules slide and lock into the low-profile 1.75" (1 RU) Unity Shelf (model URS), which accommodates up to three rectifiers — 450 watts total — plus an optional five-position GMT fuse distribution panel (UFP-5). The system is scalable and adaptable for N, N+1 or N+2 configurations, and the rectifiers are forced-air cooled for extended component life.
Typical use is compact rackmount -48 VDC power for telecom, broadband and radio sites. Newmar lists this product line as discontinued. For installations that do not require rack mounting or redundancy, Newmar offers the stand-alone equivalent USAR48-3.
