<p>The Preformed Line Products <b>FIBERLIGN In-Span Storage (FIS)</b> system is used for storing aerial slack fiber optic cable. The FIS12A-U kit supplies a pair of 12" (305 mm) diameter non-metallic storage brackets fitted with <b>ADSS hanger brackets</b>, plus the Uni-Group Cable Guide pole-pass option (suffix "U"); no cable tie pack is included with this catalog number.</p> <p>Cable capture tabs let the installer clip the cable into the bracket and then pull the storage bracket into its final position at the back of the cable loop, so the cable stays secure while the installer's hands are free to apply cable ties. Fewer cable ties are required and adjustments to the loop or bracket position are simple.</p> <ul> <li>12" (305 mm) bracket size for cables up to 0.6" (15.2 mm) OD</li> <li>Hanger brackets for All Dielectric Self-Supporting (ADSS) cable</li> <li>Vertical stacking of multiple cables gives large storage capacity in a small profile</li> <li>Uni-Group Cable Guide routes cable through low-profile applications between the communication and utility zones</li> </ul> <p>The ADSS hanger bracket assembly consists of four hanger brackets, four cable cushions, four carriage bolts, four lock nuts and four cable ties. PLP recommends using only heavy duty UV resistant cable ties to secure the slack loop, and advises checking the cable manufacturer's minimum bend radius before installation.</p>
