Zhone HX-5228XG-NA is the North America ordering variant of the 5228XG Wi-Fi 6 XGS-PON Optical Network Terminal. It is designed for subscriber-edge broadband service and supports symmetric 10 Gbps XGS-PON operation over an integrated SC/APC optical interface.
LAN interfaces include one 1G/2.5GBase-T RJ45 port and four 10/100/1000MBase-T RJ45 ports.
Voice and peripheral interfaces include two FXS RJ11 ports and one USB 3.0 Type-A port.
Wireless support includes dual-band Wi-Fi 6: 2.4 GHz 3x3 802.11ax and 5 GHz 4x4 802.11ax, with MU-MIMO and EasyMesh support.
The unit supports OMCI, TR-069-family management, bridging/routing features, and battery-backup connector support.
